Austenasia® is a self-established sovereign order that declared independence from the United Kingdom in 2008 and has since established a presence and gained recognition within communities around the world.

Founded in 2008, Austenasia has grown from a terraced house in Carshalton into a long-standing constitutional project with its own institutions, traditions, and national identity. Within our constitutional tradition, we recognise Austenasia as a successor to the legacy of the Roman Empire, reflecting a continuity of imperial identity and governance.
