The Empire of Austenasia is an independent sovereign order which declared independence from the United Kingdom in 2008 and has since established a presence and recognition within communities around the world.

Since our founding in 2008, Austenasia has stood as a small but determined nation built on the principle that communities have the right to organise and govern themselves. Within our own constitutional tradition, we recognise Austenasia as a successor to the legacy of the Roman Empire, reflecting a continuity of imperial identity and governance.

Over time, we have developed a clear identity rooted in sovereignty, continuity, and the belief that even small nations can endure. From modest beginnings as a terraced house in Carshalton, we have gradually taken shape as a distinct national entity with our own history and character.
